karl-tepfer > I went to the base of the Brooklyn Bridge to capture some shots of the "Waterfalls" underneath the Bridge. When I got there, close to sunset, this group of apparent bridge worshipers were gathered, seeming to wish "goodnight" to the Manhattan Bridge. I did eventually get some images of the waterfall, which was directly behind me, but couldn't resist this one.

It was the last building to fall on September 11th, and the first one rebuilt. This image was taken May 22, 2008 on during the 125th Birthday Celebration of the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge.
