The Freedom Tower, well-lit building with cranes on top, is now the tallest building in Lower Manhattan (as of 4/30/2012). The brand new Frank Gehry building is on the extreme right.
Made this image from a location directly South of Brooklyn Bridge Park. I wanted to document it as there will probably be expansion of the park into this area, so this view will no longer exist.
Waited for a night with a clear/colorful sunset, low tide, and 99% moon to capture this scene.
The River Cafe, nestled under the Brooklyn Bridge.
Magical location for a meal and vista of lower and midtown Manhattan
View from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Nearest bridge is the Brooklyn Bridge, further back is the Manhattan Bridge.
The Empire State Building is off in the distance, lit with green lights for a movie opening that evening.
Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and green Empire State Building.
Skaters at Wollman Rink
Statue of Liberty, Coast Guard training ship Eagle, and......the Moon.
Taken from quite a distance but liked the overall composition.

"New Yorkers like to think that their city is the center of the universe, and after spending some time there, I am not so sure they are wrong."

Bob Krist, from Spirit of Place
Brooklyn Bridge. First light of the morning moving beyond the bridge and illuminating lower Manhattan. I was the only person on the bridge (that I could see) at this moment.
