2008: I had gone to Old Wesbury Gardens to take some landscape photos and happened to see these beautiful horses practicing for an event. It was the Old Wesbury Horsemen's Foundation. The organizers, and all the participants, were kind enough to allow me to capture quite a few images of this colorful presentation. Over the next few days they will be uploaded "as is"..meaning no editing, lighting adjustment, cropping, etc, in order to allow quick for quick viewing by the participants. I do plan on editing some of the images within a few weeks.
Thank you again to to the Rough Rider Troup, Old Westbury Equestrian Center, Islip Horsemen's Association, Spirit of Long Island Drill Team, Peggy, Joanne, and everyone else who were so friendly (sorry I didn't get more of your names). (Thanks also to the horses for not kicking me.)
